ITINERARY

Saturday 19th September 2026 - Auckland or Christchurch to Dubai

Fly overnight via Dubai from Auckland or Christchurch to Casablanca

Sunday 20th September 2026 - Dubai to Casablanca to Rabat (D)

Transit in Dubai and fly to Casablanca.  On arrival you will be driven to Rabat and check in to a comfortable hotel.

Monday 21st September 2026 - Rabat to Chefchaouen (B, D)

Today enjoy an orientation tour of the charming capital of Rabat, visiting the majestiv Royal palace and kasbah of the Udayas, surrounded by French-designed gardens overlooking the ocean. Also visit the iconic 12th century Hassan Tower. Continue your journey to the charming blue-washed town of Chefchaouen in time for dinner.

Tuesday 22nd September 2026 - Chefchaouen (B,L)

Grab your cameras and capture the beauty of the blue Medina on your photography walking tour this morning. Transfer to the rual village of Houmar to cook traditional Moroccan dishes with a local family. Return to Chefchaouen in the afternoon to explore the hidden corners of the town.

Wednesday 23rd September 2026 - Chefchaouen to Volubilis to Fes (B, L, D)

This morning drive from Chefchaouen to Volubilis, where you will see the best-preserved Roman ruins in North Africa. Enjoy an exclusive Roman-inspired picnic lunch with panoramic views before continuing to Fes. Dinner tonight is in the seren courtyard of a riad.

Thursday 24th September 2026 - Fes (B)

After breakfast, join your guide to walk through Fes' medieval medina.  See the ancient Al-Qarawiyyin University, the world's oldest and the exquisite Bou Inania Medersa as well as the bustling tanneries and artisan workshops. End the day with a sunset yoga class, complete with views over the Zalagh.

Friday 25th September 2026 - Fes (B, D)

Today join an artisan masterclass. later don traditional dress for a Sufi-themed dinner with music in a warm Moraccan setting. you will be joined by an esteemed female scholar for a fascinating cultural discussion.

Saturday 26th September 2026 - Fes to Merzouga (B, D)

Todays scenic drive takes you through the Atlas Mountains, stopping in Midelt for refreshments before arriving in Erfoud. Trnsfer to 4X4 vehciles for the journey through the gigantic dunes to a luxury camp. Join a camel trek as the sun sets before dinner with Gnawa drumming, a henna art session with a local Moroccan artist and a Nomadic tea ceremony around a firelit desert circle.

Sunday 27th September 2026 - Merzouga to Skoura (B, L, D)

Travel through to Skoura, stopping at Todra Gorge to take in the breathtaking views, Lunch today is with an Amazigh (Berber) family, sharing stories and traditions. Laze around the pool in Skoura this afternoon before dinner in the hotel.

Monday 28th September 2026 - Skoura to Ait Ben Haddou to Marrakech (B)

Visit UNESCO site Ait Ben Haddou, Morrocco's famous ksar (fortified village) before joining a Women's Cooperative at Tizi n'Tichka Pass for tea.  Learn the traditional art of natural dyeing and support these women preseving age-old weaving techniques. overnight in elegant accommodation in Marrkech.

Tuesday 29th September 2026 - Marrakech (B)

Enjoy a guided exploration of marrakech's cultural gems today inlcuding the iconic Majorelle Garden and the YSL Museum, the breathtaking Ben Youssef Medersa and vibrant souks.  This afternoon, join a textile expert to discover hidden ateliers in the maze of the souk.

Wednesday 30th September 2026 - Marrakech (B, L, D)

This morning join a market tour with a female "Dada" (traditional chef) before a private cooking class at a beautiful eco-farm. This afternoon is at leisure. you may like to choose a hammam or spa treatment (additional cost) before the farewell dinner this evening.

Thursday 1st october 2026 - Marrakech to Casablanca to Dubai (B)

Transfer to Casablanca airport and fly to Dubai. Enjoy a few hours rest in a transit hotel before continuing your journey.

Friday 2nd October 2026 - Dubai to New Zealand

Depart Dubai flying overnight.

Saturday 3rd October 2026 - Arrive Auckland or Christchurch
